We’re seeking an IT Business Analyst to supports Agile delivery teams by independently gathering, documenting, analyzing, and clarifying business requirements to ensure successful solution delivery. This role works closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable work items within Azure DevOps. The Business Analyst plays a hands-on role in backlog refinement, requirements documentation, and day-to-day delivery support. This position focuses on ensuring work is well-defined, understood, and ready for development by proactively identifying gaps, facilitating discussions, and driving clarity across teams. Salary Range: $72,000 - $90,000 (annually), based on experience and qualifications. What You’ll Do • Develops and refines user stories and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps in collaboration with the Product Owner., • Supports backlog refinement by ensuring stories are clearly defined, complete, and ready for development., • Clarifies requirements and answers questions from developers and QA during the development lifecycle., • Documents business processes, workflows, and system behavior as needed., • Participates in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives., • Validates completed work against acceptance criteria and requirements., • Supports defect triage by helping analyze issues and confirm expected behavior., • Works with QA to ensure requirements are understood and testable., • Assists with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by supporting users and clarifying expected functionality., • Identifies and documents gaps, inconsistencies, or missing requirements., • None What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field., • 4–6+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Clear and effective written and verbal communication., • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks., • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn., • Comfortable working in a structured Agile environment., • Experience working in Agile teams and tools such as Azure DevOps., • Ability to write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria., • Strong understanding of business processes and system workflows., • Ability to work independently while following defined processes., • Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
