THIS ROLE: The Manager, Pursuits & CRM is responsible for identifying, analyzing, tracking and reporting via CRM a thorough list of prospective dredging projects to support the goals of the dredging division and Curtin Maritime as a whole. WHAT YOULL DO: • Canvas dredging industry and Government data sources for prospective dredging projects, • Generate timeline of prospective projects for anticipated bid schedule and performance, • Formulate and track reoccurring maintenance project schedule, • Source pre-solicitation information for capabilities. If project meets criteria of something we can perform, develop, prepare and submit one-pager for project and include on the Hit List, • Perform regular review of prospective project list to update status and download project information and bid documents as they become available, • Lead weekly Upcoming Pursuit Review meeting, • Attend industry days/events and pre-solicitation meetings as required, • Analyze bid documents and update CRM to include RFP specific details needed. If project is on the Hit List, update one-pager to make a Go or No Go decision, • For projects that are a go or consider a go, start Teams communication chat with applicable project information linked., • Submit and track preliminary RFIs as needed for solicitations that require confirmation of ability to dredge mechanically, • Support the proposal preparation process in coordination with the Manager, Proposals & Compliance and the Bid Team. Primarily review and analysis of bid specifications and data to assist the development of project overview, • Obtain and record bid abstracts for projects on the prospective project list as bid results become available, • Record awarded dredging work by competitor to assist in the development of competitors utilization schedules, • Generate bid history profiles for projects on the hit list, • For select dredging projects performed by our competitors, initiate FOIA requests to obtain production data (Daily QC Reports) and Pay Applications incl progress schedule updates., • Analyze production data and distribute report to Bid Team, • Maintain all data in an organized and identifiable method in CRM, • Manage Pursuits Data Coordinator to support the above roles & responsibilities, • Support the bid team and company in other areas of business development, marketing, proposal preparation and acquisition of work as needed WHO YOU ARE: SKILLS, APTITUDES, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: • Possesses a working knowledge of company policies and procedures, • Exhibits strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, • Possesses strong time management skills, • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure and with tight deadlines, • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills, • Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic, • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, • Independent judgement and keen decision-making skills, • Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to health and safety, • Responds to requests for service and assistance, • Superb organizational skills and desire to get it right, • Detail oriented, with a high accuracy rate, • Continuously demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and ownership by being pro-active in all situation/task DAILY TASKS: • Review PFCP E-Mails, scan dredging industry and government data sources for new prospective projects., • Review new project leads to determine if they meet inclusion criteria (develop one-pagers)., • Update CRM with newly identified projects and related documents and updated information on projects currently tracking., • Download bid documents for upcoming projects as they become available., • Communicate with Bid Team as needed for ongoing upcoming solicitation updates., • Organize and store data in CRM in a structured and identifiable way., • Support ad hoc business development activities and proposal prep as required., • Review and analyze bid documents for any new RFPs and update related one-pagers. WEEKLY TASKS: • Perform review of the prospective project list (every Wednesday with Allison/Kyle), • Update statuses, track deadlines, and add comments on project in Dynamics, • Review and analyze bid documents for any new RFPs on the hit list and update related one-pagers., • Distribute newly available bid abstracts for projects on the Hit List., • Attend scheduled pre-bid or pre-solicitation meetings., • Meet with Pursuits Data Coordinator to assign tasks and provide mentoring or training., • Compile bid history for projects that we will pursue. MONTHLY TASKS: • Update awarded projects to competitors. Ensure information is recorded in Dynamics., • Request FOIA data for select competitor projects., • Ensure projects that are on our Pursuit list are added to the FOIA log to have requests submitted., • Work with Pursuits Data Coordinator on requesting and processing., • Update project and bid information of recent bid projects, including abstracts and ensure One Pager is updated in corresponding file., • Attend industry days or events applicable to providing information on upcoming projects., • Conduct touch base with Pursuits Data Analyst to review projects coming up., • Audit CRM to ensure all current and past data is accurate, tagged, and properly stored.
