With our first acquisition in 2002, Indus Management Group currently manages 39 apartment complexes in the Houston area. We specialize in Class B & C property space, with approximately 10,600 units under management. Our goal has always been and continues to be to convert distressed properties into uplifted communities. Job Summary: The Senior IT Services Manager will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide technical support. They will have extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep Indus on the cutting edge. The IT Manager will have an immediate impact on the daily efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth. Principal Responsibilities: • Oversees the IT support team, providing related analytics to leadership on a regular basis, and creating and implementing solutions for recurring technical issues., • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that grows IT staff to effectively use company software and hardware, ensuring the support team is knowledgeable and can resolve technical issues efficiently. This role includes creating training materials, conducting workshops, and providing ongoing support to ensure a highly proficient and productive IT services team., • Tracks and maintains hardware and software inventory, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, phones, alarms, surveillance cameras, etc., • Handles business-critical IT tasks and systems administration, • Update and maintain the operability of data networks, • Implement and maintain standards, quality of service and the quality of installed solutions, • Develops and executes disaster procedures and maintains data backups, • Continuously analyzes current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement, • Researches and evaluates emerging technologies, hardware, and software; stays informed about new features and competitive solutions, • Owns projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative, • Identifies and analyzes department needs; performs cost-benefits analysis when upgrades are necessary to boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy, • Ensures network components meet needs and work together seamlessly using the full range of capabilities Education: High School Diploma; bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology, a plus Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in IT support and managing or leading small teams License/Certification(s): Valid State Driver’s License Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • English/Spanish fluency, • Proven leadership skills; strong verbal and written communication, • Strong creative and analytical thinking. Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions, • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical problems., • Expertise in managing firewalls, routers, switches, and other network hardware., • Knowledge of or experience within the last five years of Windows 10 or 11 operating systems, plus basic knowledge of databases., • Experience and knowledge of programming languages and operating systems MCSE Microsoft System Engineer, MCDBA Microsoft Database Administration, CCNA Cisco Network Administrator, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, (MS Exchange and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring, • Design, integrate and deploy large point to multipoint wireless data networks, • Knowledge of or experience within the last five years of network systems (LAN, WAN,) and communication protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)., • Data network design experience, • Data network administration
