In this role, you will be responsible for safely driving company vehicles, unloading materials with attention to customer satisfaction, and upholding a high standard of professionalism and accuracy. Pay for this Role: $28.00 an hour. Key Responsibilities: • Learn and understand company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy., • Provide excellent customer service to all clients., • Load trucks according to the sales invoice and list of materials., • Organize and secure loads to ensure safe and efficient transport., • Verify accuracy of loads with the yard manager after departure., • Deliver and unload materials at customer job sites, ensuring satisfaction., • Follow delivery instructions and ensure timely deliveries., • Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation., • Record delivery information on the sales invoice and communicate customer messages from the job site., • Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating company trucks and forklifts, including wearing seat belts at all times., • Adhere to yard loading and security procedures., • Accurately process merchandise returns with a credit memo., • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly., • Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned yard and areas., • Assist with loading customer merchandise as needed., • Must be able to work in ALL weather conditions., • Perform other related duties as assigned.
