Job Overview: Pharmaron is seeking a Research Pharmacist to support investigational drug management and clinical research pharmacy operations. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of investigational product (IP) handling-spanning receipt, preparation, dispensing, accountability, and destruction. Key Responsibilities: • Execute pharmacy procedures for receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, accountability, and destruction of investigational products per protocol and SOPs., • Develop and maintain pharmacy manuals for clinical studies, ensuring consistency with study protocols and sponsor requirements., • Compound sterile and non-sterile IPs in compliance with USP <797> and <795> and institutional standards., • Author and maintain Master Formulation Records (MFRs) with validated compounding instructions, quality checks, and traceability., • Ensure complete and accurate documentation and audit readiness for all IP-related activities., • Collaborate with sponsors and study teams during Site Initiation Visits, monitoring visits, and study closeouts., • Review temperature and environmental monitoring reports (REES) and address deviations promptly., • Maintain strict confidentiality for blinded studies and ensure 100% IP accountability., • PharmD degree required, with research experience preferred. Candidates with a B.S. plus relevant research experience, or a graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline will also be considered., • Advanced wet-bench laboratory experience in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment is required., • Prior experience in formulation, analytical methods, or sterile/aseptic techniques is strongly preferred., • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital, infusion center, or clinical research setting., • Active Maryland Pharmacist License in good standing., • Working knowledge of GCP, USP <797>/<795>, and investigational drug handling procedures., • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and commitment to quality and compliance.
