Job Description Riverhawk Company, a leading provider of innovative engineering solutions, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. As an Continuous Improvement Engineer at Riverhawk, this individual will identify and eliminate scrap, rework, and waste in our CNC manufacturing operations. This role will drive lean principles and continuous improvement throughout the shop floor, helping us achieve a "first time good" rate of 90% or better. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of prior experience in a related role where they have been hands-on, data-driven, and passionate about making measurable impact. This person will be someone who can inspire collaboration, lead change, and promote a culture of precision and attention to detail. What You'll Do: • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across CNC work centers and production processes, • Analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and develop actionable solutions to improve throughput and reduce costs, • Implement and sustain Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, and visual management systems, • Drive root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes to address quality and efficiency issues, • Collaborate with engineering to ensure manufacturability and cost-effective methods for new and existing parts, • Develop and maintain process documentation, performance metrics, and improvement dashboards, • Associate's degree in engineering or a related field required, Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred, • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, management, or continuous improvement, • Demonstrated leadership in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and/or value stream mapping, • Six Sigma training a plus, • Prior manufacturing engineering or similar experience in a CNC machining environment preferred, • Proficiency with ERP systems for data analysis and decision-making, • Strong knowledge of bills of materials, routings, and process control, • Proven ability to implement measurable improvements that increase throughput and reduce cost, • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, • Pay range - $70,000-95,000 annually (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications), • 96 hours of PTO and an additional 56 hours of Paid Sick Leave annually for new hires, with additional PTO added after five years of service, • Ten paid holidays, • Discretionary bonuses based on company performance, • Outstanding medical insurance with a company funded health reimbursement account (HRA) to cover medical bills, • Choice of two dental insurance options, • Vision insurance, • Immediate 100% vesting in Company 401(k) Plan with 3% Company Contribution, • Company paid short term disability insurance and $25,000 life insurance policy with the option to purchase long term disability insurance and additional life insurance if interested Applicants who we wish to join our team will receive a conditional offer, pending the successful completion of a four panel drug test and a background screen.
