This role operates within the Network Engineering team under the Technology, Platforms, and Operations (TPO) organization and supports a complex national network of 500+ nodes across the U.S.Key Responsibilities:Network & Infrastructure Leadership, • Lead all technical aspects of datacenter networking, enterprise connectivity, cloud networking, wireless LAN, DNS, SDN, and SD-WAN technologies., • Define technology standards and strategic direction for the network engineering function., • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues.Operational Excellence & Reliability, • Deliver high levels of operational stability and network reliability across the enterprise., • Define and execute operational programs to improve efficiency, resiliency, and performance., • Ensure infrastructure is properly patched, maintained, and life-cycled (hardware and software).Strategy, Roadmap & Transformation, • Develop and execute network infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business strategy and future growth., • Drive continuous improvement through technology modernization and transformation initiatives., • Lead strategic projects involving risk management, change management, and stakeholder engagement.Team & Stakeholder Management, • Manage and mentor network engineering teams across multiple technology domains., • Provide executive-level reporting on infrastructure health, initiatives, and risks., • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and operating companies nationwide.Required Qualifications:Education:, • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Security Systems, or a related field, • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredExperience:, • 10+ years of relevant IT or technology experience, • 2+ years in a Technology Manager role, including strategic planning and execution, • Proven experience managing engineering teams supporting enterprise-scale environmentsTechnical Expertise:, • Routing and switching, • Enterprise wireless networks, • Telecommunications, VoIP, SIP, • Enterprise Cisco voice infrastructure, • Cloud and hybrid network architecturesCore Competencies:, • Strong strategic project execution and planning skills, • Experience managing complex, high-visibility initiatives, • Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsBenefits:, • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, • 401(k) Retirement PlanAbout the Company:Our client is a leading sustainable energy company with operations in 24 states and more than $40 billion in assets.
