Unit Information:\t • Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients.\t, • 2 years of oncology experience preferred, but NOT REQUIRED\t, • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ACLS & NIH\t, • Ratio: 1:4-5 Med Surg Telemetry\t, • Ratio: 1:3 PCU\t, • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.\t *First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor Patient Diagnoses: \t • Solid Tumor\t, • Orthopedic Oncology\t, • •18J is a 36 bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care.\t, • -Pediatric patients are cared for on this unit but are extremely rare and would likely be cared for by perm staff.
