Job Description Service Lead (FOH) - Healthy Fast-Casual Restaurant Summary: We are seeking an experienced front-of-house leader to join our friendly team in Albany, CA. Reporting to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager, the Service Lead will ensure an outstanding guest experience in a warm, welcoming environment. We’re looking for a passionate leader dedicated to delivering healthy, consciously sourced meals that align with our mission to nourish the world. About the Role: The Service Lead is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by overseeing all front-of-house operations. This role ensures FOH processes and procedures are followed to create a consistent, stress-free, and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate is an experienced FOH leader with a passion for quality service. Job Responsibilities: • Ensure a warm, welcoming, and stress-free guest experience at all times., • Act as the primary floor supervisor for FOH staff., • Ensure staff adherence to FOH processes, procedures, and daily checklists., • Actively participate in all FOH roles (Lead, Cashier, Runner/Busser, Expeditor)., • Train new hires and provide ongoing education for existing staff., • Manage and ensure proper functioning of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system., • Handle delivery hand-offs accurately and promptly., • Maintain accuracy and consistency of third-party delivery platforms and integrations., • Assist with FOH inventory tracking, ordering, and receiving., • Support catering sales management and delivery hand-offs., • Contribute to marketing and social media efforts as time allows., • 1+ years in a Lead or Supervisor role in a hospitality business., • 2+ years in a customer-facing service industry position., • Experience as a Lead Server, Supervisor, Floor Manager, Service Lead, or similar leadership role., • Proven experience supervising a team in a service environment., • Fast-casual restaurant experience., • Familiarity with restrictive diets (e.g., gluten-free, paleo, vegan, keto)., • Experience with restaurant POS systems (e.g., Toast POS)., • Experience implementing systems for employee onboarding, training, inventory tracking, or ordering., • Experience serving alcoholic beverages (wine and beer)., • Certified ServSafe Food Handler.
