Job Description Job Description Title: Credit Recovery Specialist Division: School-wide Reports to: Interim Head of School or their designee Status: Full-Time, Exempt, (Academic Year), CalSTRS Retirement Eligible Salary: $34.49 - $36.30/hr. and MWA Benefits Summary The Credit Recovery Specialist is responsible for providing academic support and guidance to high school students in our school's online learning programs, primarily utilizing the EdOptions Academy and Apex Learning platforms. This role is a combination of teacher, mentor, and coach, and focuses on helping students who have previously failed courses to recover credits and stay on track for graduation. The ideal candidate is highly skilled at building relationships, motivating disengaged learners, and using data to guide instruction. Job Description Expeditions Instructional Assistant/Substitute This is an hourly, full-time position for 10 months (during the school year). Summit Public Schools is searching for Expeditions Instructional Assistants, to work with students as they participate in our Expeditions program. The Expeditions Instructional Assistant will support a classroom of middle or high school students engaged in various self-directed and small-group experiences with coaching, encouragement and guidance.
