Duties/Responsibilities: • Prepare food in accordance with CCR recipes and standards., • Independently set up and stock service units with necessary items, ensuring seamless operations., • Serve menu items in line with portion and presentation standards set by the Chef de Cuisine., • Proactively notify the Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine of anticipated shortages or operational concerns., • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas and equipment., • Demonstrate mastery of cooking techniques, flavor development, and kitchen operations., • Delegate tasks effectively and follow up to ensure quality and completion., • Assist the Chef de Cuisine in maintaining safety and security in the kitchen., • Manage the setup and breakdown of cook stations for service., • Requisition and place orders for weekly kitchen needs in collaboration with the Chef de Cuisine., • Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional work culture., • Act as a mentor to Line Cooks, supporting their growth and development., • Serve as an ambassador for the culinary department, upholding the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism. We partner with over 230 private clubs all over the country to implement traditional-style day camps for elementary-aged children. As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. The role of a Counselor is to participate, build relationships and have fun while ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child. First and foremost, your primary responsibilities will be as a Camp Counselor. Contact your college advisor in advance and ask them if you can use your summer camp job as a practicum, internship or for other course credits.
