Explore what’s next with us at novabiomedical.com or aicompanies.com About the role What you’ll do • Maintain, clean, troubleshoot, and repair high-volume automated manufacturing and packaging equipment., • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and calibrations according to the maintenance schedule., • Support spare parts and tooling inventory management., • Assist with equipment installation qualifications (IQ), and equipment validations., • Work with vendors on equipment repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting., • Assist in the set-up, debug, start-up, and performance verification of new automated equipment and processes., • Train production personnel on proper operation and care of automated machinery., • Assist in developing process aids, and visual instructions., • Document equipment status, maintenance activities, and issues clearly and effectively., • Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment., • 2+ years of experience supporting automated or high-volume manufacturing equipment., • Manufacturing background in medical devices or regulated production environments preferred., • Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated hands-on troubleshooting skills., • Experience working with micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and related diagnostic tools., • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals., • Familiarity with automated vision inspection systems (preferred)., • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal., • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment., • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs routinely., • Ability to stand or be on feet for the entire shift, as required., • Ability to climb onto, under, or inside machinery for repair, inspection, or troubleshooting., • Good manual dexterity to use hand tools, power tools, and precision instrumentation., • Ability to distinguish between colors and shades for wiring, sensors, vision systems, and component inspections., • Adequate depth perception and visual acuity to work with small components and moving machinery., • Ability to safely work around high-speed automated equipment., • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and maneuver in tight or awkward spaces., • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts., • Ability to work in an environment where exposure to chemicals such as acetone, MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), isopropyl alcohol, and other commonly used industrial solvents may occur, with appropriate PPE provided., • Ability to follow safety procedures when working with solvents, adhesives, cleaners, or other process chemicals used in equipment maintenance and manufacturing operations., • Flexible Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage, • Competitive 401k company match, • Bonus Program, Generous PTO and paid holidays, • Generous Tuition reimbursement, • Professional development, engagement and events, • Company marketplace for lunch and snacks in our Norwood, MA and Billerica, MA offices EEO Statement: Nova Biomedical takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
