Job DescriptionJob Title: Clean Room Assembler / Associate Production Operator Job Description The Clean Room Assembler / Associate Production Operator supports manufacturing and distribution of Class II and Class III medical device products in a clean room environment. This role focuses on manufacturing, assembling, and packaging equipment and components to the highest quality standards, strictly following standard operating procedures, detailed manufacturing instructions, and specification drawings. The position involves working with small parts, operating specialized equipment, and documenting all work in compliance with Good Documentation Practices and quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements. Responsibilities • Perform manufacturing process steps in the clean room, including molding, dipping, packaging, and assembly of medical device components., • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), detailed manufacturing procedures, and specification drawings to complete all work accurately and consistently., • Document and record all work performed on work order documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices., • Prepare raw materials, maintain accurate records, and ensure full traceability of all materials used in production., • Remove parts from fixtures or equipment using small hand tools, fixtures, and compressed air while maintaining product integrity and safety., • Manufacture and inspect products using a microscope to verify quality, dimensions, and adherence to specifications., • Operate various production equipment such as test stations, ovens, coating equipment, heat sealers, dipping equipment, and presses., • Handle chemicals in accordance with established environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements and procedures., • Resolve routine questions and problems independently and escalate more complex issues to Production Leads or Supervisors as needed., • Serve as a resource to others by assisting in the resolution of more complex production issues when appropriate., • Work in compliance with all applicable codes of conduct, quality policies, and EHS policies., • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clean room work area, following all gowning and contamination control procedures., • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals and quality standards., • Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing and distribution operations.Essential Skills, • 1–2 years of experience in medical device assembly or closely related medical assembly work., • 1+ year of experience performing assembly or inspection using a microscope., • Hands-on experience working in a clean room environment with full gowning and contamination control practices., • Proficiency using small hand tools, fixtures, and related equipment for assembly and part removal., • Ability to work with very small parts and components with strong attention to detail., • Basic computer skills for accessing procedures, entering data, and completing documentation., • Ability to follow written instructions, SOPs, and specification drawings precisely and consistently., • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors., • Experience with production, assembly, packaging, and inspection processes in a regulated environment., • Comfort working with microscopes for extended periods to perform detailed inspection and assembly tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior experience in medical device manufacturing, particularly with catheters or similar products, is highly beneficial., • Experience with clean room assembly, including adherence to strict gowning and contamination control requirements., • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for recording production and quality data., • Experience operating production equipment such as test stations, ovens, coating systems, heat sealers, dipping equipment, and presses., • Exposure to chemical handling procedures in accordance with EHS standards., • Ability to work effectively in a structured, procedure-driven environment and meet production targets., • Demonstrated reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to training and mentorship.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
