Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 09/29/2025, • Duration: 14 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9 PM - 7 AM (Overnight with on-call rotation) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and professional CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate service excellence while performing the following essential tasks: • Obtain necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols., • Maintain sterility of the field and instruments., • Prepare accurate requisitions for procedures., • Communicate effectively with patients and their families before, during, and after procedures to alleviate anxiety while preserving privacy and dignity., • Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient privacy is respected at all times., • Verify patient identification in accordance with policy guidelines., • Observe patient conditions before and after contrast injections and report any sudden changes to nursing staff and Radiologists., • Ensure the availability of medical records, previous reports, lab results, and patient histories., • Initiate emergency responses in the event of complications., • Maintain adequate linen supplies and contrast media/biopsy drainage supplies in each scanning room., • Participate in daily inventory and stocking of supplies, notifying the Lead of expired or soon-to-expire equipment or medications., • As a Point Staff member, triage procedures according to the daily schedule and ensure timely coordination of emergency and unscheduled requests., • Assign staff to promote efficient workflow while maintaining a safe patient environment., • Maintain constant communication with all departments regarding patient status and ensure immediate transport post-procedure., • Screen patients for allergies and assess their ability to tolerate contrast, cleaning the CT unit and room after each use., • Notify the coordinator or Lead of any equipment malfunctions and maintain QA/QC requirements per daily, monthly, and ACR specifications., • Recognize unusual conditions in the operation of equipment and alert the appropriate personnel promptly., • Ensure that images acquired during cases requiring immediate results, such as Code Grey and Trauma, are processed quickly and sent to the PACS/RIS system as per protocol., • High School Diploma or GED., • Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or a College-based Radiography program., • ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) certifications., • NJDEP New Jersey State X-Ray License., • Health & Retirement Benefits: Day-1 access to extensive benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and more., • Complimentary Onboarding: We pay your way through onboarding including Physicals, TITERS, and other essentials.
