Key Responsibilities International Propeller is looking for an NDT/ Propeller Technician who will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing preventative maintenance, servicing, repairing, overhauling, and troubleshooting and diagnostics of propeller components. Following all compliance, quality, and safety requirements. Key Deliverables of the Role Non-Destructive Testing (Primary Focus) • Eddy Current Testing (ET), • Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on propeller blades, hubs, and related components., • Prepare parts for inspection, including cleaning, masking, demagnetizing, and post-inspection processing., • Interpret inspection results in identifying cracks, corrosion, fatigue, and other defects., • Accurately document inspection findings in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and company procedures., • Maintain NDT equipment, materials, and calibration records., • Ensure full compliance with applicable NDT process standards and quality control requirements.Requirements: Propeller Technician Responsibilities • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of propellers and components., • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble propeller assemblies., • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory guidelines., • Balance propellers to the required aerodynamic performance specifications., • Repair or replace blades, hubs, spinners, seals, and pitch control mechanisms., • Read and interpret blueprints, component maintenance manuals (CMMs), service bulletins, and technical drawings., • Troubleshoot mechanical discrepancies and determine corrective action., • Maintain accurate work orders and documentation., • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Prior aviation maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, or NDT experience preferred., • NDT certification (Level I or Level II in FPI/MPI) preferred but not required; training may be provided. 1. Mechanical Aptitude – Demonstrated ability to work with tools, mechanical assemblies, and precision components., 2. Manual Dexterity – Ability to perform detailed handwork requiring precision and control., 3. Process Discipline – Ability to read, understand, and strictly follow written technical instructions and regulatory requirements., 4. Mathematical Aptitude – Ability to work with fractions, measurements, ratios, and tolerances., 5. Technical Documentation Skills – Ability to complete inspection records and reports accurately., 6. Computer Skills – Experience entering and retrieving data from digital systems and maintenance tracking software. Required Behavioral Competencies 1.
