Job Description Job Title: Payroll Clerk (Bilingual English/Spanish) Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 Job Type: Full-time, In-Office Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shift | Occasional overtime or weekends as needed Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bilingual Payroll Clerk to join our HR and Finance team. The Payroll Clerk will ensure that all employees are accurately compensated, all payroll transactions are processed timely, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws is maintained. This position plays a key role in auditing timekeeping records, preparing invoices for assigned clients, and serving as a resource for payroll inquiries. Key Responsibilities • Accurately process weekly and biweekly payroll for assigned employees., • Update and maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy in employee data such as job titles, pay rates, tax status, and benefit deductions., • Collect, review, and reconcile timekeeping data from systems such as U-Attend, ADP, and Fareclock., • Audit and verify timesheets, hours worked, and overtime calculations for accuracy., • Calculate and report payroll liabilities, including employee and employer taxes, benefits, and deductions., • Generate and process client invoices associated with assigned accounts., • Review and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors in coordination with the HR and Accounting departments., • Ensure compliance with company policies, state/federal regulations, and payroll best practices., • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information., • Assist with employee payroll inquiries and provide excellent internal customer service., • Prepare and distribute live/manual checks as needed., • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred)., • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience., • Technical Proficiency:, • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)., • Familiarity with payroll systems (Avionté, ADP, Paychex, or similar)., • Understanding of timekeeping and attendance systems., • Knowledge of:, • Basic accounting and payroll principles., • Federal and state wage and hour laws, including overtime and deductions., • Multi-state payroll processing experience preferred., • Communication:, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish., • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, clients, and management., • Attention to Detail:, • High level of accuracy and organization in handling multiple priorities., • Soft Skills:, • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities., • Reliable, proactive, and capable of meeting deadlines., • Bilingual (Spanish/English) – Required., • 2+ years of direct payroll processing experience., • Must be authorized to work in the U.S., • Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)., • Hours: 40 hours per week, with potential overtime., • Benefits:, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • Employee assistance programCompany DescriptionAt iLink Business Management, we specialize in connecting top talent with exceptional opportunities.
