If you're ready to take on a new challenge supporting the U.S. Navy, we are looking for an Information Warfare Advisor / Support to support Navy strategic initiatives. Position Description: The Information Warfare Advisor / Support utilizes cyber security, electronic warfare and information warfare to make readiness determinations and advise leadership. Minimum/General Experience: 10 years of experience in Navy cyber security, cryptology (CRY), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Information Warfare (IW) Minimum Education: High School diploma Essential Skills/Qualifications: • Excellent ability to make readiness determinations based on equipment status, training, and fleet reports, • Excellent ability to utilize metrics to make recommendations to leadership, • Excellent experience coordinating across teams to make determinations and recommendations, • Excellent experience performing policy change assessments, • Excellent experience providing formal briefing updates, • Ability to support meeting requirements (e.g., meeting minutes, presentation slides, visual aids), • Ability to provide logistics assistance, • Excellent oral and written communication skills, • Strong attention to detail skills, • Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships, • Ability to collaborate and problem-solve in a team environment, • Assignment Location - COMNAVSURFLANT (CNSL), Naval Base, Norfolk, VA; Consists of travel up to a 50-mile radius., • Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects., • Typing, communicating, repetitive motions., • Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting., • Covers 10 year period and in some instances lifetime events, • OPM Security Investigations Index (SII), • DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII), • National Agency Check (NAC) records, • FBI name check, • FBI fingerprint check, • Credit report check, • A check of local law enforcement agencies with jurisdiction over the areas where the applicant has lived, worked, or attended school, • Education check- Attendance and Degrees, • Employment verification -may include interviews of supervisors and/or co-workers, • Corroboration of unemployment, • May include reference interviews, • May include interviews of the individual, former spouse (s), • Confirmation of all residences, • Performs daily monitoring of readiness of Information Warfare (IW), Cryptology (CRY), and Electronic Warfare (EW) issues through official message traffic, email correspondence, verbal tasking, etc., • Provides daily readiness findings to the Force Information Warfare Office (F-IWO) and staff, • Performs assessments of policy changes for impact to Fleet stakeholders while providing feedback of suggested changes, • Provides formal briefings on IW, EW, and intel that impact manning, training, and equipping COMNAVSURFLANT surface combatants, • Coordinates IW, EW, and Intel capability requirements with U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), Cyber command, and Fleet commanders in support of deploying CNSL surface combatant, • Coordinates with Strike Group Cryptologic Resource Coordinators, intel warfare communities (IWC), and In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) on all aspects of IW, EW, and Intel equipment including integration, certification, evaluation, and operation of equipment, • Coordinates with Fleet Cyber Command on all aspects of IW, EW, and Intel capability development of experimental equipment and projects during all phases including design, development, testing, and fielding, • Coordinates with agency departments (e.g., Fleet Electronic Support Command, Regional Maintenance Centers (RMC)), and ISEA) on critical aspects of system operations and logistics of forward deployed platforms, • Coordinates with Fleet Directors, Navy Warfare Development Center, Fleet Information Warfare Centers, U.S. Atlantic, and subordinate commands to develop standardized IW, EW, and Intel tactics, techniques and procedures, doctrine, training, and evaluation programs, • Attends teleconferences, video teleconferences (VTCs), and internal and external meetings in lieu of or in addition to the F-IWO and staff Oxley Enterprises, Inc. offers a full array of benefits including: • Medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage for you and your family., • Life Insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability paid for by the Company., • Supplemental coverages including Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital., • Additional Life insurance coverage for you and your dependents.
