Responsibilities Strategic Sales Leadership • Serve as lead sales strategist for the home property while overseeing sales planning and execution for the secondary property., • Develop and monitor annual sales and marketing plans for both properties, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and business mix., • Partner with Revenue Management and Marketing to analyze market trends, comp set performance, and demand drivers to guide pricing and promotional strategies., • Lead regular business reviews with General Managers and sales teams to assess progress and identify new revenue opportunities., • Prepare quarterly sales and forecasting reports for ownership and corporate leadership., • Participate in annual budgeting and goal-setting processes across transient, group, and corporate segments., • Maintain an active personal book of business with defined production goals for both hotels., • Prospect and secure new corporate, group, and leisure business to grow market share., • Conduct outside sales calls, client entertainment, and site tours to strengthen relationships and close sales., • Represent both properties at tradeshows, networking events, and community partnerships to enhance visibility., • Collaborate with brand and OTA partners to maximize digital exposure and lead generation., • Negotiate and finalize group and account contracts, exercising sound financial judgment and discretion., • Directly supervise the home property’s sales team and support the DOS and sales associates at the second property., • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development plans to build capability and drive accountability., • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team huddles to ensure alignment, consistency, and motivation., • Evaluate performance, identify development needs, and collaborate with GMs on performance improvement or recognition plans., • Ensure both sales departments operate within established expense budgets and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and event billings., • Oversee marketing activities, including social media, website content, programming, and photography., • Collaborate with Olympia’s Marketing Manager on campaigns, content, and creative assets., • Develop annual marketing calendars and manage deliverables within set timelines., • Partner with the Executive Chef and Catering Sales Manager to design customized menus, promotions, and holiday events., • Ensure banquet and catering menus are current, costed, and aligned with market demand., • Facilitate accurate and timely BEO meetings and client communications to ensure flawless event execution., • Model Olympia’s values and promote a culture of fun, accountability, concern for others, continuous improvement, and trust., • Coach, motivate, and support team members to deliver exceptional service and results., • Maintain timely, accurate documentation for performance and attendance; collaborate with HR on corrective action or termination decisions., • Ensure compliance with all payroll, scheduling, and safety policies., • Leadership & Coaching: Inspires and develops others, holds team accountable., • Customer Service: Demonstrates warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism in every interaction., • Analytical Thinking: Uses data and insight to inform strategies and decisions., • Communication: Communicates clearly and respectfully, both verbally and in writing., • Organization & Time Management: Prioritizes effectively in a fast-paced, multi-property environment., • Judgment & Integrity: Exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality., • Adaptability: Adjusts strategies and focus in response to changing business needs., • Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel sales leadership experience, including direct selling and team supervision., • Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and leading successful, multi-property teams., • Strong financial acumen and experience with sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting., • Excellent communication and presentation skills., • Proficiency with CRM and hotel sales systems., • Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week and travel regularly between assigned properties., • Frequent travel between properties, including occasional overnight stays., • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required., • Extended periods of standing, walking, and computer use., • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
