We value fresh ideas, collaborative thinking, and a strong drive for results. We are seeking a proven leader in sales to join us as our Director of Sales. NEXPERA's Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy for sulfuric acid and related chemical products. This role leads a small, specialized sales team and works closely with operations, production, logistics, and finance to drive profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market presence. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in industrial or commodity chemicals, strong leadership skills, strong selling capabilities both internal and externa, deep industry contacts, and a data-driven approach to sales management. Primary Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to): • Sales Strategy & Execution, • Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with company objectives and production capabilities., • Ability and experience in developing and leading strategic governance approvals internally and then leading a team to execute to win the deal, • Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and market share for sulfuric acid across target industries, • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, strategic accounts, and long-term supply agreements., • Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, competitor activity, and regulatory impacts affecting sulfuric acid markets., • Team Leadership & Development, • Lead, mentor, and develop a small sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance., • Rely upon industry contacts and reputation to successfully sell, • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations; conduct regular performance reviews., • Support the team on key customer negotiations, complex contracts, and strategic accounts., • Customer & Account Management, • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners., • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, volume commitments, and renewals., • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership development., • Cross-Functional Collaboration, • Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics teams to align sales commitments with production capacity and delivery capabilities., • Collaborate with finance on forecasting, budgeting, credit management, and margin analysis., • Partner with EH&S and regulatory teams to ensure sales practices align with safety, environmental, and compliance requirements., • Forecasting & Reporting, • Own the sales forecasting process, ensuring accurate demand planning and revenue projections., • Analyze sales performance data and provide regular reports to senior leadership with actionable insights., • Use CRM and analytics tools to track pipeline activity, customer trends, and team performance. Qualifications In order to be qualified for this role, the following is required: • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus)., • 15+ years of sales experience in chemical manufacturing, commodities, or industrial products., • Proven experience selling sulfuric acid or closely related inorganic/commodity chemicals strongly preferred., • Prior experience leading and developing a sales team., • Strong understanding of pricing models, contracts, and supply agreements in commodity chemical markets., • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills., • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, • Results-driven and data-oriented decision maker, • Ability to balance customer demands with operational realities, • Comfortable operating in a regulated, safety-focused industrial environment, • Strong leadership presence with hands-on management style Physical Requirements • Must follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
