Job DescriptionWe’re searching for an enthusiastic inside sales representative to join our team and support business growth. If you’re looking to jump-start your career in sales, please apply today!Compensation: $70,400 - $90,000 at plan earnings Responsibilities: • Work within your specific geography to find new business opportunities, • Generate qualified leads for the sales team so they can provide a quick response to customers, • Maintain the client database to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads, • Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met, • Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads, • Support clients’ progress toward their financial goals through strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations, • Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets, and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives, • Consider clients’ life stage, professional circumstances, and changing financial needs when developing tailored financial plans to suit their needs, • Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members, • Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor What you'll do: • Proactively build and maintain strong client relationships through networking, referrals, and outreach, • Meet with clients to gather and analyze financial information, goals, and risk tolerance, • Design personalized strategies for retirement planning, education funding, wealth protection, and estate planning, • Present and recommend a broad range of financial solutions, including life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and other investment options, • Guide clients through implementation and conduct ongoing reviews to ensure strategies stay aligned with their evolving goals, • Working knowledge of the sales process and CRM software, • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred, • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to travel by car, • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills and time management skills, • Two years of previous sales experience, • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine client-first mindset, • Business-minded spirit with a strong drive for achievement, growth, and independence, • Strategic thinker with sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities, • Sales, customer service, or financial services experience is a plus — but not required, • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field preferred (not mandatory), • Bilingual abilities are highly valued and a strong advantage About Company Founded in 1845, New York Life is the largest mutual life insurance company in the U.S. It marked its 180th anniversary in 2025.
