Job Description We are seeking experienced Tool Coordinators / Tool Owners to support tool planning, delivery, installation, and readiness for a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for end-to-end tool ownership, ensuring tools are installed safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with project and manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in advanced semiconductor fabs and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-complexity environment. Key Responsibilities • Act as the single point of contact for assigned process or metrology tools from delivery through mechanical completion, acceptance, and turnover, • Coordinate tool install activities including rigging, setting, hook-up, and commissioning readiness, • Interface daily with construction, facilities, EHS, vendors, and internal engineering teams, • Develop and manage tool schedules, installation readiness checklists, and constraint logs, • Lead tool readiness reviews, installation walks, and punch list closure, • Ensure compliance with fab safety standards, cleanroom protocols, and installation procedures, • Review and approve tool layout, utility requirements, and installation sequences, • Support vendor on-site activities, resolve field issues, and drive issue closure, • Track and report tool status, risks, and milestones to project leadership, • Support factory ramp and operational handoff as required Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or construction environments, • Direct experience as a Tool Owner, Tool Coordinator, or similar tool-facing role, • Strong understanding of semiconductor tool installation lifecycle, • Experience working in 300mm fab cleanroom environments, • Familiarity with facilities systems (UPW, CDA, PCW, VAC, EXH, power, controls), • Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and vendors simultaneously, • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills, • Ability to work on-site in a dynamic construction/manufacturing setting Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting advanced logic or high-volume manufacturing fabs, • Background working within highly structured fab operating systems, • Familiarity with installation readiness reviews, MC/SC processes, and turnover protocols, • Experience with tools such as lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, implant, metrology, or inspection, • Previous experience supporting fab startups, expansions, or major tool ramps Work Environment • On-site role within an active semiconductor fab project, • Fast-paced, schedule-driven environment, • Close collaboration with construction, facilities, and manufacturing teamsCompany DescriptionAM Technical Solutions (AM), founded in 1994, is a proven and licensed architect, engineering, and construction firm.
