Job Description We are seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to join our millwork team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom commercial millwork production, a deep understanding of shop drawings and blueprints, and proven leadership skills to oversee daily operations in the shop. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to guide a team to produce high-quality work that meets project specifications and deadlines. Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the millwork production team. * Review, interpret, and verify shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications for accuracy prior to fabrication. * Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure production schedules are met. * Inspect completed work for quality, craftsmanship, and adherence to design specifications. * Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and installers to resolve design or production issues. * Maintain equipment, tools, and materials inventory to ensure smooth workflow. * Promote and enforce company safety standards and OSHA compliance. * Train and mentor production staff to enhance skill development and productivity. Requirements * Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial millwork fabrication or carpentry, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. * Ability to read, interpret, and work directly from shop drawings and architectural blueprints. * Strong understanding of millwork processes, materials, and finishing techniques. * Proficient in the use of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and measurement instruments. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. * Reliable transportation and a valid Texas Driver’s License required.
