American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Neuro ICU, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 02/09/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Work in the Neuro Transplant ICU within a hospital setting, • Patient population includes neuro and transplant critical care cases, • Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center environment, • Night shift with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, • Every other weekend and holiday coverage required, • Assume responsibility for an assigned group of neuro transplant ICU patients, • Assist with examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments in collaboration with physicians, • Obtain and monitor physiological data, administer prescribed medications, and monitor IV infusions and blood products, • Communicate care plans and hospital procedures to patients and families, • Delegation of appropriate tasks to support staff required, • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered, • Holiday and weekend shifts are assigned according to hospital policy\n \n Requirements\n, • Active OK or compact RN license required, • Minimum of 1 year of ICU RN experience required, • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required, • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
