Job Description Summary of Position: The Advisor Technician, Engineering – Corporate Reserves is a senior-level technical support role responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of engineering and reserves data. This individual works with minimal supervision and plays a critical role in supporting the corporate reserves processes through data gathering, validation, and analysis. The role requires strong technical proficiency in engineering databases and data management tools, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams including asset management, engineering, geoscience, and finance. Primary Job Responsibilities: • Support the Corporate Reserves team in the preparation of reserves reports, including SEC filings and internal business planning scenarios, • Collect, validate, and maintain well-level and asset-level data from multiple internal systems (e.g., ARIES, PHDWin, Peloton, Spotfire, Enverus, and internal databases), • Develop high level documents and technical reports regarding procedures, solutions and results, • Collaborate with asset development, reservoir engineering, production, and geoscience teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, • Assist with the integration of third-party reserves audits, ensuring data requests are fulfilled and changes are tracked appropriately., • Perform quality assurance and reconciliation of historical production, capital, and performance data, • Develop and maintain engineering dashboards and reports to visualize reserves, capital, and performance metrics, • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and proactively identify areas for data quality improvement, • Support automation and process improvement initiatives for reserves workflows, using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python, • Experience with database administration or automation tools, • Proficient in Excel and Access; familiar with other data management tools (Power BI, SQL, etc.), • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively across departments, • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Petroleum Technology, or related field preferred, • Prior experience supporting third-party reserves audits or SEC filings, • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in oil and gas engineering, reserves, or data management, • Strong knowledge of reserves estimation workflows and data requirements (SEC and/or PRMS), • Location: Work is performed at a CIVI location Monday through Thursday with the option of working remotely on Fridays., • Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and 4-hour workdays on Friday, as business needs allow and with manager approval., • Travel may be required to other Civitas offices and field locations., • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance., • Dental and Vision insurance premiums are at no cost to employees., • Generous 401(k) Retirement Plan with a 6% company match. 100% vest of employer contributions after the first month of employment., • Company paid Life & AD&D insurance., • Voluntary Life, AD&D, Accident, and Critical Illness plans., • Vacation, sick, volunteer, and holiday pay., • Health Saving Accounts (with an employer contribution) and Flexible Spending Accounts., • Fitness and tuition reimbursements., • Opportunity for Short Term and Long-Term Incentives., • Company paid short-term and long-term disability programs., • Paid parental leave., • Volunteer opportunities through The Civitas Community Foundation., • Employee assistance program., • Your choice of paid parking or an RTD EcoPass for Denver-based employees.
