Job DescriptionJob Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous operations during the overnight (3rd) shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems., • Maintain and repair PLC‑controlled equipment, motors, conveyors, presses, and automated machinery., • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment., • Diagnose electrical issues including 480V/240V systems, control panels, and sensors., • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals., • Support equipment startups, changeovers, and process improvements., • Document maintenance activities and follow CMMS and safety procedures., • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability., • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.Essential Skills, • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment., • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills., • Basic electrical knowledge; PLC or VFD experience is a plus., • Experience working with industrial machinery and production equipment., • Ability to read basic schematics, manuals, and technical documentation., • Self‑motivated and able to work independently during overnight hours., • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly preferred., • Must possess basic tools such as drills, wrenches, pliers, hammer, and screwdriver., • Must have toe protection and be willing to work overtime.Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is set in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures. It involves a combination of indoor and outdoor work, requiring standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st or 2nd shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
