Job Summary: The General Manager (GM) owns the daily execution, financial performance, and customer experience within their assigned territory. This role leads sales, operations, and field teams to deliver operational excellence, consistent profitability, and 5-star customer experiences aligned with Elite’s values of Performance, People and Passion. The GM is the primary execution leader—translating regional strategy into results by driving disciplined operations, strong sales performance, technology adoption, and a high-performance culture. General Responsibilities: Territory Financial & Performance Ownership • Own territory-level revenue, gross profit, and profitability performance, • Deliver accurate sales, revenue, and profitability forecasts, • Monitor KPIs and financial results; analyze variances and implement corrective actions, • Oversee end-to-end project execution from estimate through completion, • Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and daily workflow optimization, • Ensure material procurement, supplier performance, and crew utilization standards, • Ensure disciplined use of Elite CRM and company systems across the territory, • Own territory-level data accuracy, timeliness, and workflow compliance, • Hold team members accountable for system adoption and training completion, • Use dashboards and KPIs to proactively identify risks and performance gaps, • Recruit, onboard, and develop sales, operations, and field leadership, • Set clear expectations, conduct performance reviews, and coach for results, • Build a high-performance, engaged culture with strong accountability, • Partner with HR on succession planning and bench development, • Build and lead high-performing retail and insurance sales teams, • Execute territory sales strategies aligned with regional priorities, • Develop local partnerships with insurance adjusters, agents, and brokers, • Support major customer escalations and relationship management, • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations, • Conduct regular quality and safety audits; implement corrective actions, • Maintain required licensing, permits, and insurance documentation, • Demonstrates a territory owner mindset with full accountability for results, • Uses KPIs and financial metrics to make data-driven decisions, • Balances short-term execution with long-term growth discipline, • Adapts quickly to changing market conditions, • Leads with professionalism, composure, and integrity, • Other duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required, • Proven experience leading sales and operations high performing teams in home improvement, • Strong understanding of sales, production, and financial fundamentals, • Familiarity with roofing, siding, gutters and/or windows products preferred, • Ability to manage and understand a P&L required, • Ability to drive and grow sales revenue, • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills, • Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office, • Ability to travel within assigned territories up to 50%, • Strong person-to-person communication and lead generation skills, • Customer-focused mindset with a competitive, results-driven approach, • Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR; frequent field travel required, • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, • Ability to handle objections and conflict professionally and courteously, • Excellent verbal, electronic, and written communication skills, • Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable to commitments, • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, weather conditions, and market demands, • At Elite we believe in doing the right thing no matter what.
