Job DescriptionPrimary Job Title: Phlebotomist Floater – 1st ShiftAlternate/Related Job Titles: • Mobile Phlebotomist, • Traveling Phlebotomy Technician, • Position Type: Contract, • Contract Duration: 3 months, • Start: As Soon As Possible, • Draw quality blood specimens from patients and prepare them for laboratory testing according to established procedures., • Provide phlebotomy coverage at multiple locations, including Patient Service Centers (PSC), In-Office Phlebotomy, Mobile, and Long-Term Care settings., • Lead daily activities and serve as a mentor, coach, and resource advisor for new employees., • Act as the on-site point of contact, collaborating with leadership to ensure smooth operations., • Deliver excellent customer service, especially in high-volume or specialized environments., • Communicate effectively with internal teams such as Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT, Billing, and Logistics., • Maintain confidentiality, ensure data accuracy, and practice safety in all procedures.Required Experience:, • Minimum five (5) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred., • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).Nice-to-Have Experience:, • At least 3 years working in a PSC/IOP environment., • Prior customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or service settings., • Data entry and keyboard proficiency.Required Skills:, • Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques across diverse patient populations., • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Strong organizational and time management abilities., • Knowledge of laboratory testing workflows., • Customer-focused problem-solving skills.Additional Skills from Original Description:, • Multi-site coverage and scheduling flexibility., • Collaboration with cross-functional teams., • Confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient data., • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans #gttqst #gttjobsCompany DescriptionGlobal Technical Talent is a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation () with over 1.3 billion US$ in revenue and 5800 US employees.
