Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. - Maintain the plant facility and fix equipment/machines or call someone to fix things as needed. - Willing and able to do any person's job in the plant, when and if the need arises. - Manage and develop a team of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed. - Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. - Manage inventory and put in orders as needed. - Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: - Proven experience in plant management or a similar role. - Food processing especially milk products / dairy / ice-cream manufacturing would be a huge plus - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. - Proficient in operations management principles, including production planning and scheduling. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
