Job Description Commercial HVAC Sales Representative Jackson & Sons – A NearU Company Location: Dudley, NC Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday Position Overview The Commercial HVAC Sales Representative is responsible for performing a wide range of sales activities in support of the sales department and the company’s strategic growth plan. This role focuses on generating commercial maintenance contracts, commercial replacement projects, and new equipment installations while upholding the mission, values, and purpose of Jackson & Sons. This position requires a highly motivated, self-directed professional who can independently generate leads through cold calling, on-site visits, referrals, and networking. The Commercial Field Supervisor plays a critical role in broadening and diversifying commercial maintenance and sales campaigns to drive sustained commercial revenue growth. Key Responsibilities • Generate new commercial business through cold calls, on-site visits, referrals, networking, and relationship-building, • Secure commercial maintenance agreements, renewals, equipment replacements, and new installation sales, • Serve as the first point of contact for commercial maintenance customers, including problem resolution and solution-based selling, • Estimate and present commercial maintenance agreements and equipment proposals, • Drive commercial maintenance and equipment sales through strong relationship management and administrative follow-through, • Review job data to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements, • Prepare accurate work orders and sales documentation, • Maintain detailed written and electronic records of leads, contacts, referrals, follow-ups, and future sales opportunities, • Establish and maintain relationships with product manufacturers and local suppliers to stay ahead of product lines, promotions, and industry trends, • Respond to written and telephone inquiries that may lead to sales opportunities, • Continuously improve HVAC knowledge and sales skills through training, product seminars, and self-development, • Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner that reflects company standards, • Perform additional sales-related duties as assigned by the Sales Manager, • Proven experience in HVAC sales, commercial HVAC preferred, • Strong ability to self-generate leads and close business independently, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, • Strong organizational and administrative skills, • Ability to review job data and understand HVAC equipment requirements, • Comfortable managing multiple opportunities and follow-ups simultaneously, • Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset, • Competitive compensation structure (base + commission), • Company vehicle and business tools, • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision), • 401(k) with company match, • Paid time off and paid holidays, • Ongoing training and professional development, • Long-term career growth opportunities within a growing organization NearU is an Equal Opportunity Employer AA/EOE/M/F/V/D.
