McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our admissions Department at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This is an on-site position. The ideal candidate will have prior lead or charge nurse experience, demonstrating strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to support and guide nursing staff in a fast-paced admissions environment. How will you help us achieve our mission? You will: Administer medication to clients according to medical order. Maintain accurate recordkeeping, to include notes as required. Perform intake with new clients. Ensure doctor’s orders are followed. Obtain vital signs from clients as needed or as ordered by the doctor. Perform impairment assessments as needed. Conduct COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) assessments. Understanding and maintenance of RN scope as sanctioned by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. What are the qualifications needed for this role? You will need to have the minimum technical program completion for RN and an unrestricted NC RN or RN license from another state that participates in the multistate nurse licensure compact. Eligible Licenses Include: • Licensed Psychologist / Psychologist, • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) / Mental Health Counselor, • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), • Mental Health Therapist, • Social Worker Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive mental health services, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, • Deliver individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based practices, • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans based on client needs, • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, referrals, and community resources, • Uphold ethical standards and comply with state and federal regulations, • Participate in case consultations, supervision, and ongoing professional development, • Support clients in achieving therapeutic goals and improving mental well-being Experience • Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMSW, or MSW, SW required experience working with children & family counseling preferred., • Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health interventions, and applied behavior analysis., • Prior clinical experience providing mental health services in a professional setting, • Experience conducting assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions, • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and best practices, • Experience working with diverse populations across various mental health needs, • Strong documentation and case management experience, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Website: We are seeking candidates licensed in Vermont Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Work Location: Remote
