Job Description Title: Industrial Electrician (Licensed) Location: Charlotte, NC Hours: AM Shift Pay Rate: Open to discussion Job Summary: The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, compliance with safety regulations, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and code specifications to determine layout and installation procedures., • Install, replace, or repair wiring, switch boxes, conduits, receptacles, network/coaxial cable assemblies, lighting systems, and other electrical components., • Test equipment for continuity, voltage, resistance, and current using appropriate testing tools., • Install and service switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, regulators, and electrical control systems (hydraulic/pneumatic)., • Support Engineering by providing feedback and participating in product improvements and system upgrades., • Execute field installations, commissioning, servicing, and warranty repairs., • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and maintain appropriate documentation., • Maintain inventory records and conduct cyclical counts of electrical components., • Must hold a valid Contractor's License or Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State Government (It can be of any state)., • Inspiring Leadership – Motivates and guides team members toward shared goals while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment., • Proficient in the use of conduit bending, cabling, and related electrical hardware., • Minimum of 5 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience., • OSHA 10/OSHA 30 is an asset., • Delegation & Accountability – Assigns tasks based on team strengths, ensuring efficiency and responsibility., • Team Building – Strengthens team cohesion through collaboration, trust, and engagement strategies., • Effective Communication – Clearly conveys information, expectations, and feedback to ensure alignment and understanding., • Conflict Resolution & Mediation – Identifies and resolves conflicts professionally, fostering a productive and respectful workplace., • Time Management & Prioritization – Efficiently balances tasks and deadlines to maximize productivity., • Performance Evaluation & Feedback – Establishes clear expectations, tracks progress, and provides constructive feedback., • Decision-Making & Problem-Solving – Analyzes data, evaluates risks, and makes informed decisions to drive operational success., • Coaching, Mentorship & Training – Supports employees’ professional growth through structured training and ongoing mentorship., • Employee Engagement & Motivation – Creates an environment where employees feel valued, recognized, and driven to perform their best., • Change Management & Adaptability – Leads teams through organizational changes while maintaining morale and efficiency., • Previous experience in power generation, energy, oil & gas, or control panel assembly preferred., • Demonstrate knowledge and an understanding of OSHA., • Understand how this position impacts the quality of products and services our customers provide., • Produce quality work (on-spec., on time, on a budget)., • Participate proactively in the continuous improvement process., • Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task., • Work well within a team environment., • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills., • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills., • Maintain a professional, clean and safe work area., • Ability to travel in North America with a valid passport.
