Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY The On-Premise Sales Manager is a senior management leadership role, responsible for leading, directing, and controlling the sales and merchandising activities in all on-premise accounts at the assigned location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties/Responsibilities: • Oversees, leads, and manages On Premise Sales Team at location, including recruitment, hiring, firing, and training of On Premise Sales Team., • Continually directs and monitors On Premise Sales Team in the areas of marketing plan goals, sales, new tap handles, new placements, distribution, rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, displays, and cooler position., • Properly communicates annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals and other important information to team and manage execution., • Assists the General Manager in the development, implementation, and success of incentive programs that support and improve the sales of the company., • Working well with GDH Chain Team, Craft Team, and Red Bull Team to all increase the sales volume and revenue of the company., • Conduct on-the-job training for On Premise team to ensure professional and consistent performance from the team., • Assist in managing quality control, product rotation, and draft line cleaning team., • Routinely make sales calls on key accounts to ensure close working relationships with owners and managers and maintain a positive working relationship with the owners, managers and employees of all on-premise accounts., • As assigned, willingly assist with special events., • Advise and train retailers and their employees in the proper methods of selling, merchandising, and pricing of the products you supply to them., • Maintain open and clear communications with the Executive Team, SVPs, General Managers, and other senior management of the company., • Perform all work activities in accordance with the safe work practices, policies and procedures., • Directs the daily workflow of the location’s on premises sales department., • Uses strengths-based management so each person supervised comes to know his/her own strengths and weaknesses and uses strengths in day-to-day work., • Ensures that each employee supervised has opportunities for personal and professional growth., • Provides clear expectations for each supervised staff., • Models’ adherence to GDH’s Mission and Values and holds staff accountable for knowing and practicing the values., • Completes coaching regularly of supervised staff and annual a performance evaluation on due date., • Actively participates in internal and external training opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS • Preferred bachelor’s degree., • At least 5 years of industry-related experience, including three years in sales management required., • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with transportation management software. Prior use of VIP or similar software package., • Personable, highly organized, strong leadership skills, detail oriented., • Access to reliable transportation. If driving an automobile while on company business, must possess a valid driver’s license in your state of residence and auto insurance. Must be able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen., • Demonstrated ability to:, • Work effectively with internal and external individuals, including other professionals in the community., • Work effectively as a member of the leadership team., • Effectively communicate to various internal and external audiences in both person and through various electronic media., • Manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision., • Effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS, • Frequently (50%+ of the time) required to walk and talk or hear., • Occasionally required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel object, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms., • Frequently (50%+ of time) lift and/or move up to 50 pounds., • Frequently (50%+ of time) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth perception., • Occasionally (less than 25% of time) exposed to moving mechanical equipment and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet., • Frequently (more than 50% of time) travel throughout the GDH sites.
