Job Description Corporate Events Manager Pay Status and Classification: Exempt, Regular Full-time Supervisor: Vice President of Marketing Work Location: Hybrid in New York and local to company headquarters, with a schedule that includes working at the company headquarters regularly. Position Summary: The Corporate Events Manager is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing the company’s corporate events and trade show presence. This individual will lead the end-to-end management of high-impact events, including industry conferences, client summits, and internal corporate functions while ensuring alignment with brand objectives and business goals. This role requires a strong background in event logistics, trade show operations, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager with a passion for creating memorable brand experiences and a proven ability to manage complex event portfolios. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Event Strategy & Planning: Develops and manages a comprehensive annual calendar of corporate events and trade shows aligned with marketing and business development goals. Defines event objectives, KPIs, and success metrics; tracks performance and ROI. Identifies new event opportunities and evaluates sponsorships, speaking engagements, and partnership activations. Proactively handles space reservations, logistics coordination, and travel arrangements to secure optimal pricing and positioning at trade shows and events., • Trade Show & Conference Management: Oversees all aspects of trade show logistics, including booth selection, vendor coordination, shipping, labor scheduling, and on-site execution. Manages booth design, pre promotion, coordination with sales, messaging, and layout in collaboration with creative teams and external vendors to ensure brand consistency and visual impact. Coordinates lead capture strategies and post-show follow-up processes in partnership with the sales team. Provides support to team members attending trade shows and events, including travel assistance and real-time issue resolution, to ensure a seamless and successful event experience., • Budgeting & Reporting: Develops and manages event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and accurate forecasting. Tracks expenses, process invoices, and provide timely reporting to finance. Delivers post-event analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement., • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serves as the primary liaison between marketing, sales, executive leadership, and external partners for all event-related initiatives. Leads pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with internal stakeholders. Ensures all event participants are trained, aligned on messaging, and equipped with necessary materials., • Logistics & Operations: Manages all event logistics including venue sourcing, travel arrangements, catering, A/V, registration, and on-site staffing. Oversees shipping and inventory of event materials, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage. Maintains detailed records of event assets, promotional items, and booth components., • Event Performance Measurement: Tracks the effectiveness of trade shows and corporate events by analyzing metrics such as leads captured, sales follow-up activity, attendee traffic, engagement levels, and overall costs., • Marketing & Promotion: Collaborates with the marketing team to develop pre-event and post-event campaigns, including email outreach, social media, and promotional collateral. Ensures consistent brand messaging across all event touchpoints. Supports the development of event-specific content such as presentations, signage, and giveaways., • Client Summit & Internal Events: Leads planning and execution of the company’s annual client summit, including venue logistics, agenda development, speaker coordination, and attendee experience. Supports internal corporate events such as town halls, leadership offsites, and employee engagement initiatives. Required Skills & Abilities: • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Proficiency in event management platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems (Dynamics CRM a plus), • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines., • Ability to work independently and in a team., • Familiarity with shipping logistics (UPS, FedEx, or third-party freight providers), • Creative problem-solving and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Experience: • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate event planning, trade show management, or related field., • Proven track record of executing successful B2B events and conferences., • Ability to travel up to 25% for event execution and site visits., • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
