The Job Details: This role is part of the regional Accounting team and is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong month-end close processes. As a Staff Accountant, you’ll be hands-on with journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and cross-functional support for field operations. Responsibilities: • Responsible for performing a wide range of professional accounting duties to support the accounting function of the region., • Prepare and review complex journal entries for month-end and year-end close., • Create, maintain, and analyze recurring journal entries., • Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and transfers., • Assist with the month-end, year-end, and budget process., • Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable., • Prepare documentation for auditors., • Prepare accurate month-end reports and financial analysis., • Maintain and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies., • Prepare and analyze monthly P&L, providing variance explanations., • Support field locations in resolving accounting-related issues., • Record and deposit incoming checks., • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives., • Complete additional assignments as directed by the Accounting Manager. The Job Specifics: • Location and Department: Fresno, CA, Finance, • Reports To: Accounting Controller, • Travel Amount: 15%, • Job Type, EEO, and Job Code: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, • Education:, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred., • Qualifications:, • 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate or public accounting., • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)., • Effective verbal and written communication skills., • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment., • Experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) preferred.
