A Day in This Role As a Material Handling Solutions Account Executive, you’ll blend technical know-how with consultative selling to grow profitable revenue and expand market share. Picture this: • Your morning starts by reviewing your territory plan in the CRM, prioritizing opportunities with both new prospects and existing accounts., • Late morning, you’re on-site with a customer, assessing workflows and cost drivers, then delivering a targeted demo that shows why a change makes sense now—and why you and LiftOne/CTE are uniquely positioned to deliver., • In the afternoon, you shape proposals and estimates, engineer solutions, run finance options, and answer RFPs with crisp, technical detail., • You wrap up with follow-ups, documenting every step from first meeting through close and post-sale handoff.What You’ll Do, • Build and execute strategic account plans for assigned territory to profitably grow sales with new and existing customers., • Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning material handling equipment, service programs, preventive maintenance contracts, parts, repair programs, rental power, and rental services to business goals., • Develop and deliver persuasive product demonstrations and presentations that articulate why change is needed, the urgency to act, and why you and CTE are the best choice., • Think critically to recommend improvements that mitigate risk, reduce cost, and drive profitable growth and customer outcomes., • Monitor market trends and competitive moves and translate insights into action., • Provide accurate responses to RFPs, contributing complete technical solutions and specifications., • Uncover opportunities by analyzing cost-benefit ratios in the customer environment; propose equipment, process, or service changes., • Create tailored financing solutions to meet diverse customer requirements., • Demonstrate business acumen in areas like inventory, asset management, ROI, and financial statement analysis., • Maintain meticulous records in CRM and quoting systems from first contact through close and follow-up., • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or extensive related technical experience)., • Proven success in industrial services or technical sales with documented achievements., • Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities., • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills., • Creative mindset—comfortable proposing new ideas and solutions., • Career ambition—this role feeds future business leaders at LiftOne., • Driving is an essential function; you must maintain a current, valid driver’s license at all times.How You Work, • Customer Empathy: Build loyalty through integrity, commitment, and responsiveness., • Team Player: Think enterprise-wide; prospect actively and collaborate across functions., • Sense of Urgency: Act decisively; keep customer needs and sales momentum front-and-center., • Critical Thinker: Leverage our full portfolio—products, services, and technology—to solve problems and accelerate growth., • Intellectual Curiosity: Invest continuously in technical and soft-skill development; deliver technically competent demos and presentations aligned to customer goals., • Competitiveness & Resilience: Persist through objections; treat setbacks as learning investments; own outcomes with accountability and purpose.Technical Toolkit, • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint., • Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM., • High mechanical aptitude for processes and equipment.Communication & Analytical Skills, • Language: Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence., • Mathematics: Comfortable calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Depending on site location, you may encounter moving mechanical parts and equipment, occasional heights, fumes/airborne particles, outdoor weather, vibration, wet/humid environments, toxic/caustic chemicals, extreme cold or heat, and risk of electrical shock.
