Challenge is seeking team members committed to: • Excellence in education., • Developing and implementing hands-on, engaging, content-rich, differentiated lesson plans., • Meeting individual student needs., • Effective parent communication and partnerships., • Fostering a life-long love of learning., • Professional Development., • Tolerance & Teamwork, • Positive reinforcement., • Benchmark assessments and record keeping, • Strong communication skills both written and oral, • School event and activity planning & attendance, • School policy enforcement · Assist in providing services to allow all learners to access the curriculum and reach high standards. · Review, update and maintain confidential files, maintain confidentiality and security of documentation. • Substitute Teaching · Data collection, input, and progress monitoring · Maintain good relationships with students, families, supervisors, and peers. · Participate in parent & teacher meetings as needed. · Special projects as assigned. · Conduct small intervention groups for students of all learning levels Qualifications for Assistants: AA degree Para-professional certificate preferred Certified teachers encouraged to apply Core Knowledge Curriculum experience a plus!
