We are looking for a qualified Power Construction Manager (Substations, Overhead/Underground Lines, EV Charging). The Power Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing field construction activities for electric utility projects, including substations, overhead and underground distribution/transmission lines, and EV charging station installations (civil and electrical). This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes, specifications, permits, and utility standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead day-to-day construction management for substations, OH/UG line work, and EV charging station builds (site civil, foundations, conduit/duct bank, grounding, transformers/switchgear, panels, chargers, commissioning support)., • Manage contractors and crews: scope, scheduling, productivity, daily reporting, and coordination with design/engineering, operations, and commissioning teams., • Enforce safety programs and jobsite compliance (tailboards, JHAs, stop-work authority, incident prevention)., • Oversee quality control: inspections, testing coordination, punch lists, as-builts, and closeout documentation., • Control project cost and schedule: forecasts, change orders, material tracking, invoice review, and progress reporting., • Coordinate permits, traffic control, right-of-way access, outages/switching, and stakeholder communication (utilities, AHJs, customers, property owners)., • 5+ years of construction management experience in utility substations and OH/UG line construction; EV charging infrastructure experience a plus., • Strong understanding of electrical/civil construction means and methods, testing/commissioning interfaces, and contractor management., • Proficiency with schedules, budgets, reporting tools (MS Project/Primavera and Excel preferred)., • Health Insurance plans (health, dental, vision);, • Whole Life Insurance;, • 401k Plan;, • PTO/Paid Holidays;, • Great Work Environment;, • Career Advancement Opportunities.
