Job DescriptionKamper’s evokes the spirit of Barcelona’s charming cafes within the bustling heart of downtown Detroit. Perched atop the 14th floor of the iconic Book Tower, it pays homage to the building’s visionary architect while offering traditional Basque tapas, pintxos, an elevated wine and cocktail experience, and expansive skyline views. Kamper's Rooftop Lounge is looking for passionate and talented barbacks to join to our team! Barback Job Responsibilities: • Adhere to established service standards and protocols, • Assist bartenders with running side work responsibilities. For example, restock ice bins, glassware, garnishes as well as restock liquor, wine, beer., • Maintain a clean, organized bar area, and ensure supplies are stocked before, during, and after shift. If you take the last of anything, inform a manager if it needs to be ordered, or replenish it if it is within the restaurant, • Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bar area during service., • Pre-bus bar area throughout our guests dining experience., • Assist servers and bartenders by running food, refilling guests drinks, and helping with other tasks throughout the shift., • Follow proper “manners” protocol when interacting with any guest, • Strong, upbeat and positive personality, • Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail, • Passion for food, beverage and hospitality, • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment, • Team and family-oriented mentality, • Dependability, • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, • Ability to lift and carry items when needed with a maximum weight of 50lbs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Working Conditions/Environment • The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight to 10 (8 to 10) hours per day., • Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
