We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk Associate to help keep our warehouse running smoothly. In this role, you’ll play a key part in making sure incoming shipments are accurate, organized, and ready to move through our operations. POSITION SUMMARY The Receiving Clerk Associate is responsible for overseeing the receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of products. This role involves inspecting deliveries, updating inventory records, and maintaining a clean and organized receiving area. The Receiving Clerk Associate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and thrives in a forming and storming environment. The Receiving Clerk Associate is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations. This position is also expected to support the overall operation of Form Services, Inc., when needed. Certain tasks may be asked that do not fall into the essential functions of this job. KEY RESPONSIBILITES Receiving Shipments: • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage upon arrival., • Verify that received items match purchase orders and packing lists, documenting any discrepancies., • Update inventory management systems to reflect received items and ensure accurate stock levels., • Label and organize products in the receiving area to facilitate easy access and efficient storage., • Maintain accurate records of all incoming shipments, including delivery receipts and inspection reports., • Report any issues with shipments, such as shortages, damages, or incorrect items, to the Warehouse Supervisor., • Work closely with other warehouse staff to coordinate the movement of products and materials throughout the facility., • Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors regarding shipment issues or inquiries., • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees., • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, removing any debris or hazards that may obstruct workflow., • Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)., • Familiarity with barcode scanning and receiving technology., • Basic understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipments and maintaining records., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously., • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate issues effectively., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team., • Willingness to adapt to changing processes and participate in continuous improvement initiatives., • A positive attitude and strong work ethic., • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods during the workday. Manual dexterity for handling inventory items, tools, and standard office equipment. Frequently required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Visual and auditory ability to perform essential functions, including inspecting shipments and communicating with team members. Ability to work in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to noise, temperature variations, and moving equipment.
