Summary: Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager, the Warehouse Personnel will receive incoming inventory deliveries, verify shipment paperwork, enter inventory into the system, pull and pack inventory to fulfill customer orders, create packing slips, labels, schedule carriers, follow up on the order status with internal and external customers via phone and email, manage inventory counts, identify discrepancies, conduct investigations, coordinate freight pick-ups and deliveries for time-sensitive orders, including cost analysis and handling claims, utilize Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) for various tasks, perform light instrument technician duties, servicing instruments and safety equipment. Key Responsibilities • Inbound & Stocking: Inspect, unload, and receive incoming stock and materials; verify shipment paperwork; assign locations; maintain accurate receiving records for audits., • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment; ensure products are labeled and packaged correctly; stage shipments for carrier pickup to meet daily SLAs., • Shipping & Compliance: Prepare BOLs, labels, commercial invoices, and customs documents; ship via LTL and parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS); schedule pickups and track exceptions., • Documentation: Maintain shipping documents for yearly audits; ensure SOPs and safety compliance records are up to date., • Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts, reconcile variances, maintain item master data (weights, dimensions, stock locations), and drive inventory location accuracy., • Systems & Data Entry: Utilize ERP system, shipping software, and spreadsheets to update, shipments, and inventory transactions., • Communication: Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations) to resolve logistics questions and expedite urgent orders., • Safety & Equipment: Lead by example on OSHA-compliant practices; document safety training; report equipment damage; schedule preventative maintenance for warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)., • Quality Control: Ensure all inventory and shipments meet quality standards., • Housekeeping & 5S: Keep warehouse and workstations clean, organized, and audit-ready; ensure proper usage and replenishment of supplies., • Lead Duties: Manage inventory counts, identify discrepancies, conduct investigations, cost analysis, and handle claims. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics role (receiving/pick/packing/shipping) and inventory management, • Experience coordinating with parcel and LTL carriers (UPS/FedEx/ & common LTLs), • Experience with Shipment Documents (Packing Slip, Commercial Invoice, BOL, etc.), • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Forklift experience required, • Proficiency with WMS, shipping software, and spreadsheets, • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Nice to Have (Preferred): • Carrier Claims for damages or lost/shortages, • Prior 5S/lean, cycle counting, or inventory control experience, • Entry Level - Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, filters, formulas) and basic, • Data-cleanup skills #LI-JG1 #ZRJG Additional Information: • Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., physical and drug screen are required for potential candidates., • Working Conditions: Warehouse environment, not climate controlled., • Training/Certifications: Previous distribution/warehouse experience preferred;, • Education: High School Diploma or GED Location: USA:CA:Anaheim DXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
