ABOUT THE ROLE The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe inspection, repair, installation, and maintenance of all plant equipment and systems to ensure optimal plant performance. This role supports reliable operations by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH \n\n • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment, including conveyors, pumps, crushers, dryers, separators, gearboxes, and rotary equipment.\n, • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability.\n, • Fabricate, weld, cut, and assemble mechanical components or replacement parts as needed.\n, • nstall, align, and move mechanical equipment according to engineering specifications and drawings.\n, • Safely operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and service trucks as required.\n, • Support and comply with all Amrize Safety Policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Working at Heights (WAH), and confined space procedures.\n, • Document maintenance activities accurately and communicate findings to plant management.\n, • Collaborate with production, electrical, and operations teams to schedule and complete work efficiently.\n, • Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n, • Assist with plant clean-up and other support activities as needed to maintain safe, efficient operations.\n, • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.\n\n WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: High school Diploma or equivalent. Required Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or millwright work (cement, aggregates, mining, or heavy manufacturing environment preferred). Mobile equipment operation experience preferred (forklift, man lift, loader, etc.). Additional Requirements: \n\n • Occasional overtime, weekend, or call-in work may be required.\n, • Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.\n, • Skilled in welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and mechanical assembly.\n, • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.\n, • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize maintenance activities independently or within a team.\n, • Ability to work safely in varied environmental conditions and around heavy equipment.\n, • Demonstrate strong skills in problem-solving, decision making and multi-tasking\n, • Strong mechanical aptitude with diagnostic and problem-solving skills.\n, • Works collaboratively and respectfully with peers, management, and vendors.\n, • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
