We're looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced team. What We're Looking For • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred, • Strong medical, surgical, and communication skills, • A collaborative, compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care, • A great sense of humor and the ability to enjoy the day-to-day moments that make veterinary medicine rewarding, • Interest in seeing pocket pets and rabbits is a plus, • Oregon veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure) About Our Practice We value thoughtful, individualized medicine and encourage our doctors to practice in a way that best serves each patient and family. Our hospital is equipped with digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory services, a surgical suite, and modern surgical and dental equipment to support efficient, high-quality medicine. What We Offer • Competitive base salary, range of $130,000 - $180,000 (depending on schedule and experience), • Production: 22%, quarterly production bonuses with no negative accrual, • Generous PTO and CE allowance, • Flexible scheduling, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid parental leave, • Professional dues, licensing fees, and liability coverage, • Pet care discounts and additional wellness benefits Qualifications Required • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates, • Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE), • Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date, • Minimum of two years of clinical veterinary experience Preferred • Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics, • Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine, • Strong mentorship, communication, and leadership skills, • Proven adaptability, initiative, and team-building abilities Why Portland? Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
