Senior Events Manager (Production&Operations – Fan Experience) At Tennium, we are looking for an experienced Event Manager to lead the planning, production and operational execution of our tennis events. Responsible for both the overall event infrastructure of the event (set-up and services) and the audience experience, ensuring flawless execution in all areas. ABOUT THE ROLE • Lead the planning, coordination and supervision of all event infrastructure aspects, including competition courts, hospitality areas, fan zones, catering spaces, access points, signage, security, power supply, water and player services., • Coordinate licences, permits and insurance, as well as the technical management of plans, electrical certifications, approvals and inspection reports, in collaboration with local authorities and sports governing bodies., • Monitor and control the budget allocated to the Production and Operations area, overseeing cost tracking, invoice validation and resource optimization, in close coordination with the Finance department., • Select, negotiate, contract and coordinate technical suppliers (tents, grandstands, lighting, sound, generators, cleaning, security, catering, etc.), ensuring quality standards, deadlines and regulatory compliance (health & safety, industrial safety, environmental standards)., • Liaise with external experts to ensure the most efficient delivery (city, commercial, marketing, finance, etc.), • Ensure the proper technical execution during build-up, event and dismantling phases, resolving incidents and coordinating technical teams and on-site staff., • Prepare and update detailed schedules for build-up, event and dismantling phases, in coordination with Production, Ticketing, Hospitality, Marketing and Communication departments, ensuring full interdepartmental alignment., • Oversee on-site events team, contractors and volunteers to ensure smooth operations., • Coordinate the set-up of sponsor activations and work with the Marketing and Commercial departments, ensuring proper technical integration and brand visibility as agreed with partners., • Prepare closing reports including technical, operational and financial analysis, identifying incidents, lessons learned and improvement opportunities for future tournaments., • Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in sports and event management. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • +8 years' experience in sports or large-scale event production, • Degree in Industrial Organisation, Event Production, Event Management, Sports or Business., • Solid knowledge of temporary infrastructures, logistics, schedules, and field operations., • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple suppliers., • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills., • High level of planning, organisation and communication., • Excellent Spanish and English required., • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to dynamic environments., • Availability to travel and flexibility to work non-traditional hours during tournaments., • Passion for tennis and a deep understanding of the sport’s ecosystem are a plus.
