Our page MG Motor Europe on LinkedIn: Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the role Product Operations & Network Support • Oversee the creation, continuous improvement, and strategic deployment of sales tools for the dealer network—including product sheets, brochures, price lists, guides, and competitive benchmarks—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand positioning and commercial priorities., • Lead and coordinate product training initiatives for the dealer network, guiding both digital and in‑person training formats, and ensuring that training content, delivery, and execution meet the required quality standards and effectively support network performance and product understanding., • Manage cross-functional projects (e.g. recalls, improvement programs)., • Act as the Product expert for internal teams (Sales, Marketing, After-sales, Training, Finance)., • Support vehicle homologation processes by providing product information and ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance requirements. Product Launch & Development • Coordinate and contribute to new product launches, including providing pricing and range recommendations and creating sales guide., • Work closely with marketing digital/retail/offline/PR teams and agencies on launch events and promotional campaigns to ensure effective communication of product information during launches., • Integrate France-specific customer needs into product specifications and development, including segment and model features/equipment, model assumptions, pricing, positioning, color and trim mix, life cycle strategies. Governance & Competitive Analysis • Track market and consumer trends alongside competitive activity (equipment, pricing, etc.) to drive and to share internally benchmarking insights., • Implement structured project governance: steering committees, crisis management and reporting., • Strengthen collaboration with SAIC HQ by representing French market needs and advocating for local requirements., • Work closely with European/Global Product teams to anticipate future product evolutions and ensure alignment of priorities. Leadership & Team Management • Manage, coach, and develop a team member (Product Specialist / Assistant Product Manager), including objective setting, performance reviews, skills development, and day‑to‑day guidance., • Structure the Product team’s organisation to ensure clear responsibilities, efficient workflows, and continuous capability building., • Establish team rituals (weekly meetings, project reviews, prioritisation routines) to maintain alignment and operational effectiveness., • Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team. Experience & Educational background & Expertise • Degree from a Business School or equivalent, • At least 3 to 4 years of experience in product marketing, automotive industry, or a similar role, • Solid understanding of automotive product planning, pricing strategies, and feature positioning, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Strong organisational and analytical skills, • Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail, • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of data/dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus, • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) Be part of our SAIC Motor France team and apply now !
