WHY WORK FOR US Here at Blacklock we`ve fully embraced cultural diversity and made it our superpower. Our people are the very beating heart of our restaurants, where everyone can be themselves and truly shine in their natural brilliance. We also have quite a few OGs who have been rocking the floor for 8+ years, and still going strong (and surprisingly fast), which should count for something! Just like the well-being of our people we feel the same way about the planet – we're proud to be a certified B Corp. OUR OFFER TO YOU • A safe and respectful place where you can be yourself and speak your truth., • Learning and growing. We'll train you from the ground up and invest in one of the best, varied training programmes out there, helping you become a top-tier industry professional opening many doors for your future., • Flexible hours. We will do our best to design your work schedule around your lifestyle., • Become a part of a high performing, self-assured team., • Autonomy. Once we've given you all the tools and knowledge you need, we believe the best thing we can do is give you the space to do your thing. Micromanagement is not our style., • Work with a well-seasoned leadership team. Our restaurants move at a fast pace, with high energy and emotional intensity, but our managers know how to keep teams focused and in control., • Join an ever-growing, nationwide network of people who genuinely support and look out for one another., • Job security! There is no queue of AI-driven robots outside of our restaurants wanting to take our jobs. We check every day – so far so good! SOME OF THE GREAT PERKS TO ENJOY AS PART OF OUR BENEFIT PACKAGE • 50% off food across all our restaurants for you and up to three guests., • Enjoy our superb-quality chops, steaks, and premium wine at cost price – perfect for hosting a BBQ in the garden or home party., • A choice of freshly prepared hot meals (buffet-style) on shift with the team's dietary requirements in mind. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome! We make sure everyone's well fed and ready to rock., • Plenty of breaks (all paid) throughout the day to rest, recharge, and step outside., • 30 days holiday plus service charge: 28 statutory days, plus an extra day for your birthday and another to enjoy Blackstock – our yearly end-of-summer open-air festival (it`s awesome!)., • Christmas and New Year's Day off (we are closed 24th-26th Dec and 1st Jan), • One paid day each year to give back through volunteering – you choose the cause, whatever speaks to you., • Free mortgage advice., • Hardship Loan Scheme to support you in unexpected situations., • Face-to-face counselling support, legal advice and hardship grants through our Employee Assistance Programme., • Special milestone rewards including CODE membership, weekend away, extra holidays and fully paid sabbaticals. ..And more! WHAT WE WOULD LOVE FROM YOU IN RETURN We are not simply hiring staff but building a community of good natured people who crave and find meaning in human connection. We are looking for a strong mix of fierce intelligence, kindness, and a desire to change hospitality, and the world, for the better. While experience is valued and certainly an advantage, who you are as a person matters far more. If our story speaks to you, we would love to hear yours.
