The Role The Field Sales Engineer, Remote – Berkshire will act as the primary interface between customers and the business, providing technical guidance, developing tailored solutions, and securing profitable business opportunities across key markets. Responsibilities include: • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within target markets., • Building and maintaining strong relationships with OEMs, engineering teams, procurement departments, and strategic customers., • Conducting customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations., • Understanding customer technical requirements and recommending suitable RF and microwave solutions., • Preparing quotations, proposals, and supporting commercial negotiations., • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop customer-focused solutions., • Supporting customers throughout the complete sales lifecycle from enquiry through to project delivery., • Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline activity. About the Candidate The ideal Field Sales Engineer will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent commercial awareness and relationship-building skills. Applicants should have: • Previous experience in technical or engineering sales., • A background in RF, microwave, electronics, telecommunications, or related industries., • The ability to understand and interpret technical customer requirements., • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills., • Commercially focused and self-motivated approach., • Experience using CRM systems., • A full UK driving licence., • Knowledge of defence, aerospace, telecommunications, or advanced electronics markets would be highly advantageous.
