The Role Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on major projects in Manchester City Centre, with support from their Preston office. This is a great opportunity to join a well-structured commercial team and work on significant projects under JCT and NEC forms of contract. Responsibilities • Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account, • Subcontract procurement and management, • Preparing and reviewing subcontract agreements, • Valuations, variations, and final accounts, • Cost reporting and forecasting, • Managing subcontractor payments, • Attending site and client meetings, • Working closely with the Project Manager and Estimating team, • Ensuring projects are delivered within budgetRequirementsQuantity Surveyor, • 25+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, • Experience working for a main contractor, • Experience working on projects ideally within education, commercial, or residential sectors, • Knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts, • Good commercial and contractual awarenessSenior Quantity Surveyor, • 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, • Strong experience working for a main contractor, • Experience managing own projects commercially xrnqpay, • Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts, • Ability to manage and mentor junior staff, • Experience working on £5m+ projectsSalary & Benefits, • Quantity Surveyor: £35,000 £55,000, • Senior Quantity Surveyor: £55,000 £65,000, • Car allowance, • Pension, • Holidays, • Strong pipeline of secure work, • Excellent career progression opportunities, • Established and supportive team environmentLocation, • Preston office Mobile:
