The role of Project Worker will include: • Regularly assessing the needs of clients by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment, • Assisting clients with managing finances and welfare benefits, • Encouraging social inclusion and helping clients to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem, • Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the clients and actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required, • Promoting safe working practices by undertaking risk assessments within legislative frameworks Skills and experiences: • You will have previous experience in a role supporting victims of domestic abuse or a background gained in a supported living environment in a project worker capacity, • Sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management, • Good understanding of occupancy agreements, • The ability to react effectively under pressure, • The ability to work on your own initiative and ability to source innovative solutions to problems, • You will be empathetic and non-judgmental with good interpersonal and customer care skills, • NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards, is essential Are you ready to be your best?
