Agricultural and Commercial Property Solicitor Shrewsbury The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with a genuine passion for agricultural and commercial property law to join a specialist team and build a high-quality caseload. You will work on a broad range of agricultural and commercial property matters, supporting existing clients while helping to grow and develop the practice. Key Responsibilities You will handle a varied and interesting caseload, including: • Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies, • Acquisition and sale of farms and rural property, • Easements, transfers, and renewables-related property work, • Auction packs, SDLT, Land Registry, and Companies House submissions, • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, agents, and other stakeholders, • Promoting the team’s expertise through marketing and business development activities, • Maintaining accurate time records, ensuring billing compliance, and managing file performance, • Maximising cross-referral opportunities with other teams and service lines What We’re Looking For Essential: • Qualified Solicitor and demonstrable experience in agricultural, residential, or commercial property, • A strong interest in and passion for agricultural law (England and Wales), • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, • Good working knowledge of AML regulations and the Solicitors Accounts Rules, • Confident user of MS Office and case management systems About You You will be someone who thrives on building strong client relationships and delivering practical, tailored advice.
