Business Development Executive / Telesales Executive Location: Leighton Buzzard Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Salary: £28 000 + commission Overview Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team. This is a high-energy, target-driven role focused on generating new business through proactive cold calling, lead generation, and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have strong telesales experience and a proven ability to win new customers. Cold calling is a key part of the role, with a minimum KPI of 80 outbound calls per day. Key Responsibilities * Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets * Generate and develop new business opportunities * Carry out high-volume outbound cold calling (80+ calls per day KPI) * Identify and qualify new sales leads * Research new markets, trends, and potential customers * Prepare and follow up on sales proposals and quotations * Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products/services * Negotiate with new and existing customers via phone and email * Maximise opportunities from inbound and outbound enquiries * Maintain accurate CRM records and update activity daily * Produce reports on activity, pipeline, and performance * Attend networking events and support business development activity ...
