Service Engineer - Welding Location: Grangemouth, FK3 8YE Hours: Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week (7:30 AM 17:00) Speedy is the UKs leading hire provider, offering the broadest range of tools, specialist equipment, plant, and support services everything for every job. Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for keeping equipment performing at its best?Were looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Service Engineer to join our team, working in the depot you'll maintain and support a fleet of welding equipment.This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of your role, deliver outstanding service, and ensure smooth operations for our clients. Key Responsibilities Maintain, calibrate, and service a range of welding and engineering equipment in the depot Diagnose and resolve both routine and complex equipment faults and breakdowns. Ensure all equipment remains compliant with relevant safety and regulatory standards. Build and nurture strong working relationships with clients through excellent service delivery. Make informed decisions regarding repair strategies and maintenance planning. Schedule and coordinate routine servicing directly with client teams. Demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude in supporting Speedys strategic goals. Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver. What Youll Need A valid UK driving licence A strong background in the maintenance and repair of welding and engineering equipment, ideally supported by a recognised apprenticeship. Proven experience in servicing a wide range of welding equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels. A self-motivated, organised, and professional approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
